A veritable car chassis Mecca

I only had a couple of days in Nebraska and covered a lot of miles (Omaha to Gering and back), but due to lack of time I only managed to make it to one Passport stop - Carhenge! I was determined to fit that one in, even though it involved driving some 190 miles on lonely winding roads with scant cell phone service and even fewer towns along the way. I knew it was meant to be when the gift shop was still open (scheduled to close for the season just a couple of days later).
